While we understand the importance of using the very best machinery. We also acknowledge that it needs to be operated by highly skilled professional engineers and so we employ some of the most experienced sub-contract EDM technicians in the country to operate our machinery. In turn we are committed to supporting our team of engineers, nurturing their talent, and ensuring their individual strengths and skills are fully utilised.
Some of our current staff have well over 30 years’ experience, initially starting work with Cheshire Precision Shapes Ltd who were an early sub-contractor in EDM. These staff then moved over to Cheshire Wire Erosion. Between them, our team has over 100 years of experience, qualifying them to effectively handle large or heavy work pieces as well as tiny components requiring intricate detailing.
Over the years we have worked with and continue to work with many companies who are leaders in their specialist fields, whether that’s in the automotive, petro-chemical, subsea or pharmaceutical industry. Our aim is to respond promptly and efficiently to the diverse requests made by our customers. As a result, we constantly monitor our processes and procedures to ensure we consistently produce both quality and craftmanship. It’s because our customers are confident that we will produce the best quality machined parts in surface finish and precision, that they return to us year after year.
With the technology that we have we can cut any shape and depth that traditional machining methods could not produce. We will also accept any job large or small, whether that’s a one-off piece such as a single prototype or a large repeat order. Throughout the process we endeavour to work closely with our customers to ensure we adhere to their requirements and meet their expectations. We always try to be flexible to meet their changing demands and ever critical production schedules.
We also continue to work with a variety of materials both exotic and non-exotic to produce a large and diverse range of components, in a number of varied applications. Therefore, it is rare that we receive a machining problem that we have not encountered before. We can guarantee that whether it’s a complex component or something a little simpler to cut, we will have the solution. We also have the expertise to work with expensive materials where there is no room for error!

We have 15 machines in our workshop which operate 7 days a week, giving us the flexibility to meet or exceed demanding delivery times, as well as working within the customer’s budget. We monitor our delivery performance to ensure we meet client requirements and are adhering to the strict high-quality parameters that we have set ourselves. In addition, we do our utmost to tailor our services to the needs and expectation of our customers.
